Let Them Fade – Instrumental (Original Composition)

New instrumental based on a song I wrote a few years ago. Hope you enjoy it!

Philippians 3:13 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, FORGETTING THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEHIND, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,”

Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

There are many things that are of no value
Yet they remain to clutter up your life
Build a bonfire don’t delay – burn the things that aren’t okay
And then watch them fade away, watch them fade away

>Because you must let go of them – you must learn to let go
Of all the things that pull you back from moving on

Chorus: Watch their light grow darker, let them fade away
Turn your back on anything that’s gone
Your life will be brighter, as you embrace the future
All the while never turning back, let them fade

Throw your pride away – it has never helped you
Learn from your mistakes, and the faults of others
Love and your love will return, hate and hatred you will earn
Be a friend on which all can, on which all can rely

>And when you’ve learned to let go of
The things that hold you back
You’ll find yourself sprinting toward the finish line

Bridge: Your life will be brighter
As their light grows darker
Your life will be brighter
As their light grows darker

Darwin Garcia – Lead
John Varney – Tenor
Argel Tabang – Baritone
Jesse Elevera – Bass

I. He has a name written on him
That no one but he himself knows
He’s dressed in a robe dipped in blood
And his name is the Word of God
The armies of heaven were following him
Riding on white horses
Dressed in fine linen, white and clean
And his name is the Word – is the Word of God

Rider on the white horse
Rider called faithful and True
With justice he judges and makes war
His eyes are like blazing fire
And on his head are many crowns
Rider on the white horse

II. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword
With which to strike down the nations
He’ll rule them with an iron scepter
And his name is the Word of God
He treads the winepress of the fury
Of the wrath of God Almighty
On his robe and on his thigh
His name is written
